- We start from primary sources. Our numbers come from university extension programs, state health departments, the CDC and the EPA, and equipment manufacturers’ manuals. Every guide lists its sources at the end.
- We check the math. Dose charts, sizing tables and worked examples are calculated and double-checked before publishing.
- We say when to call a professional. Some jobs, like pulling a pump or working on live wiring, are not DIY projects, and we say so.
- We keep guides up to date. When guidance changes, we update the article.
